About The Position

Moffitt Services is hiring a driver to support its growing business and customer needs. The role involves safely delivering fuel to customer locations using a fuel delivery truck, coordinating delivery routes and schedules, and providing professional customer service. Drivers must follow safety requirements for fuel and hazardous materials, keep accurate delivery records, inspect and maintain the vehicle, and work with logistics and maintenance teams. The position serves local and regional areas and may involve travel for disaster response.

Requirements

Clean background with no felonies.
Valid Class C driver's license and clean driving record.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual tasks and operate delivery equipment.
Operating and reliable cell phone for dispatch and GPS coordinates.
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Safely operate and maintain a fuel delivery truck to transport and deliver fuel to client locations.
Plan and execute efficient delivery routes to meet customer demands and delivery schedules.
Load and unload bulk fuel using appropriate equipment and established safety protocols.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the delivery vehicle.
Maintain accurate delivery records, including quantities, locations, and customer signatures.
Provide professional customer service and address inquiries and concerns during delivery stops.
Coordinate delivery schedules and route efficiency with the logistics team.
Follow safety regulations and guidelines, including proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
Report vehicle maintenance issues and coordinate timely repairs with the maintenance team.
Keep the delivery truck clean and organized and ensure it is stocked with necessary supplies and equipment.
