About The Position

Century A/C Supply, part of Rheem, is hiring a Delivery Driver to support the efficient operation of its delivery function in the Houston, Texas area. The role involves safely operating a motor vehicle, preparing and delivering merchandise to customers and branches along established routes, providing customer service, and ensuring deliveries are timely and correct. The driver completes required paperwork and maintains an orderly vehicle while following company policies for vehicle maintenance, services, and driver conduct. The role may also assist inside sales representatives and warehouse personnel as needed.

Requirements

• At least a high school diploma.
• Prior driving experience.
• A satisfactory driving record within the last three years.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
• Ability to interpret instructions.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle.
• Ability to operate warehouse machinery.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds without assistance on a regular basis.
• Ability to sit for several hours at a time.
• Good driving record and ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Deliver equipment, parts, and supplies to branches and customers daily.
• Load and unload merchandise using necessary machinery and tools.
• Operate forklifts.
• Perform daily DOT inspections.
• Keep the vehicle orderly.
• Complete appropriate paperwork for delivered merchandise.
• Follow company policies regarding vehicle maintenance, services, and driver policies.
• Assist inside sales representatives and/or warehouse personnel as needed.
• Lift or maneuver up to 50 pounds without machinery assistance.
