About The Position

The Non CDL Driver is responsible for safely operating a non-commercial motor vehicle to deliver containers to customers. The driver completes vehicle inspections, operates assigned routes safely, uses manual and/or automated controls and joystick equipment in accordance with safety regulations, and monitors vehicle condition to maintain operational readiness. The role also involves professional communication with coworkers, dispatchers, and customers, completing paperwork accurately, meeting productivity standards, and following and enforcing safety procedures. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Driver’s license.
Ability to lift or carry heavy objects as necessary.
Pass initial onboarding substance-abuse testing; random testing is required for continued employment.

Responsibilities

Complete pre- and post-operation vehicle checks in line with FCC regulations, including checking tire pressure, fluid levels, safety devices, gauges, and other components.
Safely operate commercial vehicles on allocated routes, including roads, residential neighborhoods, and alleys.
Use manual and/or automated controls and joystick equipment in compliance with FCC safety regulations and procedures.
Communicate courteously with coworkers, dispatchers, and customers to ensure services are timely and professional.
Monitor vehicle status to maintain operational readiness and reduce downtime.
Complete required paperwork and reports accurately.
Meet departmental productivity standards so clients are serviced in a timely and effective manner.
Follow and enforce all safety regulations and procedures.
