About The Position

The Non-CDL Delivery Driver supports daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced distribution environment. The role drives a delivery truck with a gross vehicle weight under 26,000 pounds and delivers products to customers on established routes. Drivers may use a box truck or tractor-trailer. Training is provided. This is a full-time, day-shift position based in Fletcher, North Carolina, serving the Asheville area, with travel of up to 50%.

Requirements

Valid Class C/D driver's license that meets acceptable criteria.
Familiarity with Encompass handheld database software.
Ability to perform the essential duties satisfactorily; reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
Must pass a background check, motor vehicle driver check, and drug screen.

Responsibilities

Serve customers assigned to the route according to scheduled stop rankings.
Adapt to changes in work assignments and support organizational restructuring efforts.
Follow customer or trade accounts-receivable procedures when checking in orders, including DSD, PO number, military, receipt, or stamp requirements.
Place products in designated areas or move pallet displays directly to the floor.
Pick up shells/flats, returned pallets, and damaged or out-of-date products.
Merchandise assigned stops as scheduled by management.
Communicate issues, problems, or opportunities to the sales and delivery teams.
Follow company policies and procedures set by management.
