About The Position

The CAE Engineer for Noise and Vibration (N&V) leads the virtual performance integration of vehicle components and subsystems as they relate to noise and vibration characteristics. This role utilizes advanced simulation tools and full vehicle modeling to evaluate and influence design decisions, ensuring N&V performance is effectively integrated across disciplines. By aligning technical solutions with vehicle-level objectives, the engineer helps deliver customer-focused performance while balancing trade-offs across multiple domains. The engineer in this role will be focused on structural vibration and structure-borne noise using primarily finite element methods. The engineer performs complex computer simulations to predict N&V performance against defined metrics and develops integrated solutions that meet program requirements. This role is instrumental in driving enterprise-wide alignment, ensuring N&V considerations are embedded early and consistently throughout the vehicle development process. This position may be filled with a Senior CAE Engineer or CAE Engineer. The level for this role will be determined based on the selected candidate’s qualifications, skills, and experience.
