About The Position

We are seeking a collaborative Node.js Developer with complementary Java or Angular experience to join a growing engineering team. The role involves designing and building modern front-end applications, microservices, and REST APIs, contributing to architectural improvements and cloud integrations, and working in an Agile environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• At least 4 years of professional software development experience.
• At least 4 years of hands-on experience designing and developing front-end applications, microservices, and REST APIs.
• Core proficiency in Node.js, with practical experience in Java for legacy DB2 connectivity and Angular.
• Foundational experience with AWS cloud services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, Kinesis, Firehose, DynamoDB, EKS, and CloudWatch.
• Experience with databases including DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, and legacy DB2.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to handle technical ambiguity, and ability to work effectively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain front-end applications, microservices, and REST APIs primarily using Node.js.
• Contribute hands-on full-stack development expertise across core engineering projects.
• Analyze existing applications to support target-state design and transitions to cloud architecture on AWS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Database, CTO organizations, and API integration groups.
• Ensure application reliability and quality using testing frameworks and API testing tools, and monitoring platforms such as Splunk.
• Participate actively in Agile team workflows, addressing technical challenges and clarifying evolving requirements.
