About The Position

We are seeking a Nocturnist to provide overnight inpatient hospitalist coverage for adult patients. This role involves managing hospitalized patients, collaborating with specialists and multidisciplinary care teams, and responding to codes and rapid response events. The Nocturnist will also provide support within an open ICU environment and document patient care activities in Epic, ensuring the delivery of high-quality inpatient care.

Requirements

• Active Unrestricted Mississippi Medical License
• Active DEA with Mississippi Address and Schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4, and 5
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• ACLS Required
• Completion of Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Residency
• Minimum 2 Years of Recent Clinical Experience
• Documentation for Previous 2 Years Required (Case Logs)
• Proof of CME Activity for Previous 2 Years Required
• Flu Vaccine: Required
• COVID Vaccine: Required
