Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Active or eligible license in the state of Texas.
• Strong clinical skills in inpatient medicine, including the assessment, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams in a hospital setting.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented hospital environment.
• Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care and ensuring patient satisfaction within a rapid response team supported model.

Responsibilities

• Handle up to 6 - 10 admissions per night, ensuring focused, high-quality care.
• Provide exceptional, compassionate inpatient care.
• Focus solely on patient care, as a dedicated rapid response team handles codes and procedures.
• Utilize streamlined workflows and modern EHR systems for efficient patient management.
