About The Position

The Great Falls Clinic and Great Falls Hospital are seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Nocturnist to join their expanding health system in Great Falls, Montana. This is a hospital-employed, full-time position with a 15 on/15 off schedule, working from 7pm to 7am. The role is supported by a dedicated nocturnist counterpart, Pulm/CC physician, and Telemed Critical Care/Pulmonology. The facility is state-of-the-art, featuring a 36-bed inpatient hospital, a 10-bed Open ICU, and a busy 8-bed ED. The position offers a competitive compensation structure based on experience, subspecialty training, and productivity (wRVU model), along with additional incentives and a comprehensive benefits package.

Requirements

Board Eligible/Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
Eligible for Montana medical licensure.

Procedure experience and comfort preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide nocturnist coverage in a patient-centered hospital setting.
Work a 7pm-7am shift on a 15 on/15 off schedule.
Collaborate with a dedicated nocturnist counterpart, Pulm/CC physician, and Telemed Critical Care/Pulmonology.
Manage an average daily census of 15 patients.
Work within a facility with a 1:5 nursing patient ratio, based on patient acuity.
Utilize state-of-the-art facilities and diagnostics.
Work in an Acute Care Hospital with a full complement of referring specialties in-house.
Perform procedures if comfortable and experienced.
