About The Position

The Great Falls Clinic and Great Falls Hospital are seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Noctunist to join our expanding health system in Great Falls, Montana. This is a hospital-employed, full-time position with a nocturnist shift schedule of 15 on and 15 off, from 7pm to 7am. The role is supported by a dedicated nocturnist counterpart, a Pulm/CC physician, and Telemed Critical Care/Pulmonology services. The facility is state-of-the-art with a full complement of referring specialties in-house, including 36 inpatient beds, a 10-bed Open ICU, 2 cath lab suites with an 8-bed pre/post-procedure care unit, 5 ORs, a 4 OR Surgery Center, 5 observation beds, and a busy 8-bed ED. The hospitalist daily census averages 15 patients per day, with a 1:5 nursing patient ratio based on acuity.

Requirements

• Board Eligible/Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Eligible for Montana medical licensure
• Committed to high-quality, patient-centered care
• Values autonomy within a collaborative environment
• Procedure experience and comfort preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide nocturnist coverage from 7pm to 7am on a 15 on/15 off schedule.
• Perform procedures and be comfortable with their associated responsibilities.
• Collaborate with dedicated nocturnist counterpart, Pulm/CC physician, and on-call specialists.
• Utilize Telemed Critical Care/Pulmonology support.
• Manage an average daily census of 15 patients.
• Work within a patient-centered care model.
