About The Position

We are seeking a qualified Physician to fill a Hospitalist/Nocturnist position in Chinle, Arizona. This is a Locum Tenens role with the potential for a long-term contract. The role involves 100% direct patient care in an inpatient and outpatient setting. The physician will be responsible for admissions and rounding for patients of all ages. Temporary privileges are available, and hospital privileges are required.

Requirements

• Active unrestricted license in any State or U.S. territory
• Board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine or American Board of Family Practice
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Current, unrestricted DEA license with schedules II through V
• NPI number
• Minimum of 6 months of recent Hospitalist or Nocturnist experience

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an inpatient and outpatient setting.
• Manage patient admissions.
• Perform patient rounding.
• Care for patients across the full age spectrum.
