NP/PA - Nocturnist Hospitalist APP - Fremont, MI
About The Position
The Gerber Hospital Nocturnist team is looking for an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join their hospital medicine practice caring for patients on their busy team. In addition to PAs, they are looking for Acute Care or Adult Gerontology NPs. Experience is preferred but not required. The position involves working with a well-established Physician group, additional APPs, and other disciplines to ensure safety and success. The schedule includes six 12-hour shifts over a two-week period (7pm-7am) with no call requirements. Scheduling variability is available as needed with the team. A robust ramp-up and orientation process is provided, with virtual nocturnist support available for consultation as needed.
Requirements
- Nurse Practitioner: Required Master's Degree.
- Nurse Practitioners who obtained their education and certification after 2000 must show evidence of completion of a master’s, post-master’s or doctorate from a Nurse Practitioner program that is accredited by the Commission on the Collegiate of Nursing Education or the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission.
- 3 years of relevant experience.
- Current, relevant clinical experience.
- Previous experience functioning in a collaborative role as a Nurse Practitioner.
- LIC-Nurse Practitioner (NP) - State of Michigan.
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Physician Assistant: Required Master's Degree.
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant educational program.
- LIC-Physician Assistant - State of Michigan.
- CRT-Physician Asst Certified (PA-C) - NCCPA National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS).
