About The Position

Franciscan Health is seeking a full-time Board Eligible/Board Certified Internal or Family Medicine physician to join their Hospitalist Nocturnist program in Crown Point, Indiana. This is an established program known for great patient outcomes and high physician satisfaction, with a collaborative relationship with hospital administration. The ideal candidate will focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction, possess strong interpersonal skills, and be eager to build community ties and long-lasting patient relationships. The physician will work collaboratively to ensure the highest quality of patient care.

Requirements

• Board Eligible/Board Certified Internal or Family Medicine physician.
• Strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Desire to develop strong ties with the community and build long-lasting relationships with patients and their families.
• Ability to work collaboratively.
• Lines and Intubation required.
• ACLS required.
• Rapid Response Team required.
• Doctorate Required.
• Physician License (DR) - Upon Hire Required.
• Board Certification in Specialty Discipline (or eligibility if appropriate) - Upon Hire Required.
• Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association Upon Hire Required.

Nice To Haves

• Limited ICU Setting (All admissions require Pulmonary/Critical Care Consult)

Responsibilities

• Provide care as a full-time nocturnist.
• Manage an average of 8-10 admissions per night.
• Work collaboratively to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care.
• Perform lines and intubation.
• Respond to rapid response team calls.
