About The Position

West Virginia University Medicine is seeking multiple Nocturnist Physician Hospitalists for West Virginia University Hospitals, Inc. The position is based at Princeton Community Hospital in Princeton, WV. The team currently has two full-time nocturnists who cover almost all night shifts. There is a minimal historic use of locums’ tenens hospitalists. The team has an experienced group of Advanced Practice Providers that provide excellent support to the physicians. The ICU is open and procedures are not required. Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. degree or foreign equivalent.
• Completed residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• West Virginia Medical License eligible.
• Board eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient clinical care to patients with disease and injuries of the human internal organ system and establish preventive health practices for patients.
