About The Position
West Virginia University Medicine is seeking a Physician Hospitalist for West Virginia University Hospitals, Inc. The position is based at Princeton Community Hospital in Princeton, WV. The role involves providing comprehensive inpatient clinical care to patients with diseases and injuries of the human internal organ system and establishing preventive health practices for patients. The team has a nearly full complement of physicians with minimal historical use of locum tenens hospitalists and is supported by an experienced group of Advanced Practice Providers. The ICU is open, and procedures are not required.
Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. degree or foreign equivalent
- Completed residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- West Virginia Medical License eligible
- Board eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment
