About The Position

TeamHealth is hiring an experienced nurse practitioner or physician assistant for its hospital medicine program at AdventHealth South Overland Park in Kansas. This full-time nocturnist role provides overnight admissions and cross-coverage support for hospitalized patients. The clinician will work with a stable, experienced team of physicians, advanced practice clinicians, specialists, and nursing professionals in a collaborative inpatient environment. The role offers considerable clinical autonomy, with physician and specialist support available when needed. The hospital uses Epic and is a modern community hospital in the Kansas City metropolitan area. The schedule is 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. in 7-on/7-off blocks. The preferred start is within approximately 90–120 days.

Requirements

• Experienced nurse practitioner or physician assistant.
• Prior hospital medicine experience.
• Comfort managing patients independently during overnight hours.
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills.
• Kansas license preferred, or ability to obtain licensure.

Responsibilities
