About The Position

IN Compass Health is seeking Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Nocturnist Physicians to join its established Hospital Medicine team at Southern Illinois Healthcare (SIH) in Carbondale, Illinois. The role focuses on nighttime Hospital Medicine within an established program and offers the opportunity to work with hospitalist physicians and advanced practice providers in a respected regional health system. The position is supported by IN Compass Health, a physician-led organization, and SIH, a not-for-profit health system serving Southern Illinois. SIH’s network includes multiple hospitals, a comprehensive cancer center, a Level II Trauma Center, and specialty and outpatient services. IN Compass Health partners with SIH to support Hospital Medicine services across the region, including Memorial Hospital of Carbondale and Herrin Hospital. Requirements

MD or DO.
Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
Eligible for an unrestricted Illinois medical license.
Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to quality patient care.

Experience in Hospital Medicine is preferred.
