About The Position

Snaju Inc. is seeking NOC Operators to join their 24/7 Global NOC Team. The NOC is a core part of Snaju's global operations, involving networking, space mission support, and high-level customer interaction. The ideal candidate will be excited about how the internet works, eager to help customers solve complex problems, and ready to grow with the company.

Requirements

1+ years in a technical role such as IT Help Desk, MSP, Desktop Support, or NOC.
Networking Fundamentals: Solid grasp of TCP/IP, DNS, and routing. Comfortable reading a traceroute and understanding network paths.
Linux Basics: Comfort using the command line with tools like ssh, ping, dig, and basic file navigation.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills. Ability to explain technical issues clearly.
U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident: Required for aerospace compliance.
Ability to pass a background check.
Reliable transportation to the Houston NOC located near JSC.
Commitment to a fixed, on-site shift schedule.

Nice To Haves

Certifications such as CCNA, JNCIA, or Network+.
Home lab, running own server, or experimenting with virtualization.
Experience with monitoring tools like LibreNMS, Grafana, or Zabbix.
Background in shift-based environments such as Military, Emergency Services, or Industrial Control.

Responsibilities

Monitor the health of the global network, including BGP sessions, link state, and traffic patterns across four datacenter POPs.
Monitor dashboards for active space missions and ensure mission-critical systems remain online by escalating anomalies.
Serve as the primary point of contact for hosting and ISP clients, handling provisioning, technical support, and outage resolution.
Triage and mitigate security events, including DDoS attacks and abuse reports.
Work with datacenter remote-hands teams and internal engineers to resolve incidents, maintaining detailed logs and status updates.
