The Operational Systems Directorate (OSD) at PNNL leads a significant campus construction and modernization effort. OSD is responsible for operations, facility services, maintenance, and infrastructure planning, employing nearly 800 staff across various disciplines. The Facilities & Infrastructure Operations (F&IO) Division, within OSD, operates and maintains PNNL’s buildings, grounds, and utilities, comprising approximately 363 staff. This role is part of the F&IO team and will perform routine and non-routine inspections and observations for all facilities at designated locations, monitor and control access, and ensure facilities are secured, alarmed, and patrolled. The position also involves initiating emergency response during non-business hours, maintaining a logbook of activities, and serving as the onsite facility operations representative during non-business hours.
