About The Position

The Night Warehouse Loader loads outbound orders into designated tractor trailers according to company procedures and standards so drivers have product safely stowed and organized for efficient deliveries. The role is based in Marrero, Louisiana, and is scheduled Sunday through Thursday, starting at 5:00 PM and working until completion. The listed rate is $17.49 per hour; the expected base-rate range is stated as $17.49.00 to $22.49 per hour. Compensation may depend on relevant experience or education, skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. The position works in a multi-temperature indoor and outdoor environment, with temperatures ranging from -5 degrees to over 100 degrees. Requirements

Must be pallet jack certified.
Good attention to detail.
Ability to read load diagrams.
Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Must be team oriented and able to get along with others.

Responsibilities

Inspect trailers before loading to ensure they are clean, at the proper temperature, and ready for loading.
Ensure pallets are built according to delivery stops and securely wrapped to prevent damage during transport.
Verify pallet header labels and check for damaged or outdated product before loading.
Load trailers, ensure bulkheads are correctly placed and secured, and complete and submit the load diagram.
Follow safety work practices and maintain a clean and orderly dock area.
