About The Position

The Night Supervisor - Janitorial is responsible for directly overseeing employees at a designated account and/or shift, ensuring productivity levels and customer service requirements are met. This is a standing and walking post that includes regular patrols of building common areas, lobbies, restrooms, tenant floors, and back-of-house spaces.

Requirements

• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Two years of janitorial supervisor experience; the posting describes this experience as both preferred and required.
• Proven ability to manage a large team and/or staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist with training the cleaning team.
• Oversee and perform cleaning operations in the assigned building.
• Manage security of property keys and access cards.
• Report maintenance work orders.
• Oversee job quality and confirm completion with the Manager.
• Check supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly.
• Complete order forms accurately and completely.
• Coordinate equipment usage and inventories.
• Manage daily employee lunches and breaks.
• Maintain a daily shift report for managers.
• Perform basic administrative, payroll, and attendance functions as required.
• Communicate with Account Managers to monitor and maintain optimum staffing levels.
• Provide technical guidance, interpret policies and procedures, and assist front-line employees with functional tasks.
• Ensure shift schedules, including days off and vacations, are complete a week in advance.
• Work with leadership to ensure all callouts are covered.
• Accommodate increased or decreased client staffing requests.
• Manage the No-Fault Attendance Policy.
• Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
