About The Position

Tailored Brands is seeking a Route Driver to move and deliver merchandise and products to store locations on assigned routes accurately, on time, and safely. The role involves driving commercial motor vehicles on HUB routes and handling merchandise and freight at the distribution center and stores. The position requires working across all areas of the HUB’s distribution center and performing other assigned duties. The successful candidate must meet company driving and safety standards, pass a company road test and a DOT physical including a drug screen, and be able to perform the stated driving and material-handling tasks. The position pays $21–$28, depending on merit, length of service, and other factors; final pay also considers skills, background, and experience and may be subject to prevailing wage laws.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Valid Class C non-CDL driver’s license; the role uses a 26-foot box truck under 26,000 pounds.
Must pass a company road test.
Must pass a DOT physical, including a drug screen.
Driving record must have no more than two moving violations in the past 24 months or three moving violations in the past 36 months.
No DUI, DWI, or license suspension in the past 10 years.
No more than one preventable DOT-recordable accident in the past 12 months.
Familiarity with the surrounding market and neighboring cities and surroundings.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Able to sit and remain alert while driving for at least 10 hours.
Able to operate 26-foot automatic-transmission box trucks with a capacity of at least 26,000 GVW.
Able to squat or crouch to handle or position freight.
Able to enter and exit the vehicle cab at least 8–10 times per day, using steps, footholds, and handholds; this entails bending, twisting, climbing, squatting, crouching, and balancing.
Able to push and/or pull 500 or more pounds on a dolly cart or manual pallet jack.
Able to push, pull, and lift 50 pounds without mechanical equipment for a distance of at least 12 feet.
Frequently able to reach for freight at waist level, above the shoulder, or below the waist, including moving to the left or right.
Staff employees are expected to be available to work in all areas of production as required.

Responsibilities

Ensure timely deliveries to the Tailored Brands store network.
Unload, process, and reload merchandise and freight.
Drive a commercial motor vehicle on HUB routes and deliver merchandise to stores.
Pack and ship merchandise as required.
Scan drivers’ logs and tuxedo manifests into and out of the HUB.
Assist in reconciling data-entry errors, transfer discrepancies, and pending transfers.
Ensure the security of HUB equipment and tools.
Perform driving duties within parameters set by the Transportation Safety Department.
Keep work areas clean.
Report all injuries to up-line management promptly.
Actively support the corporate mission statement.
Maintain professional and courteous relationships with stores, customers, and vendors.
Work collegially in teams.
Work in all areas of the HUB’s distribution center and perform assigned duties as needed.
