About The Position

The Night Transfer Driver delivers product to warehouses in Eastern Washington and Idaho, and handles pickups, collections, and customer service during delivery operations. The role requires operating a truck and material-handling equipment safely, completing vehicle inspections and reports, maintaining required certifications, and protecting company property. The driver may also perform other duties assigned to support team operations and improve warehouse and company performance.

The position involves regularly lifting or moving up to 50 pounds and occasionally lifting or moving up to 170 pounds, such as full beer kegs. Work may take place in inclement temperatures and weather conditions, with noise levels that are usually moderate and occasionally high due to outdoor environmental noise. Requirements

• CDL A required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Clean driving record; no SR22 insurance.
• Copies of CDL and DMV record required before starting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good customer relations skills.
• Good interoffice and department relations.

Nice To Haves

• Beverage delivery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the assigned vehicle, complete inspection reports, and distribute them as directed.
• Safely and efficiently deliver product to Eastern Washington and Idaho warehouses using a truck and equipment such as a forklift, pallet jack, ride-on jack, or hand truck.
• Collect or pick up empty containers, rejects, and unsold merchandise.
• Collect money from Eastern Washington and Idaho locations, bring it back to the main warehouse, and deposit it in the safe.
• Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations.
• Maintain certifications required by DOT and company safety programs.
• Maintain and protect company property in excellent condition.
• Implement ways to improve company and warehouse profits, quality, and service.
• Perform other tasks assigned to support and improve overall team operations.
