About The Position

U-Haul is hiring a Transfer Driver to transport equipment to and from repair shops and support U-Haul centers and customers. Drivers use U-Haul’s proprietary mobile technology to assess and care for field vehicles, complete electronic receipt and intake paperwork, and help ensure equipment is maintained and available. The position is open to applicants new to the industry as well as those with vehicle-repair experience. Team members may also be asked to assist in additional areas as directed by their supervisor.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license.
Ability to use mobile transfer programs.
DOT certification if required; U-Haul may sponsor the certification.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and not require employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Complete receipt and intake paperwork electronically.
Transport U-Haul equipment between U-Haul centers, dealerships, and the repair shop.
Perform visual inspections of equipment.
Maintain a driver log.
Assist in additional areas as necessary, following the supervisor’s directives and guidance.
