About The Position

Hooverwood Living is a renowned senior living community in Indianapolis, Indiana, specializing in skilled nursing, short-term rehabilitation, and dementia care. With a history dating back to 1902, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to older adults. We are seeking a Night Shift Supervisor (11:00 PM - 7:15 AM) to join our team and ensure the delivery of high-quality care during the night shift.

Requirements

Current, valid Indiana RN or LPN license
A nursing degree or diploma from an accredited college or university
Skilled at tackling numerous tasks and making quick decisions
Can foster good resident and family relationships
Ability to effectively collaborate within a team environment
A passion for working with elderly residents
Experience in a long-term care required

Responsibilities

Oversee the scheduling of nursing staff during the night shift to ensure adequate coverage.
Deliver high-quality care tailored to the unique needs and ages of the residents served.
Conduct thorough assessments of new admissions and current residents as needed.
Perform rounds on all units, connecting with floor staff and residents to address concerns and provide support.
Facilitate seamless shift transitions by participating in handoff reports with the Evening Shift Supervisor.
Maintain clear communication with the Nursing Administration to ensure consistent and effective care across all shifts.
