About The Position
Messiah Lifeways is seeking a 2nd Shift Nursing Supervisor to coordinate and direct clinical and administrative aspects of nursing services. You’ll guide a dedicated team, foster professional growth, and ensure the highest standards of resident care. This role is for a compassionate leader ready to make a difference in the lives of older adults. The RN Supervisor is a great role for you if you are a natural leader excited about guiding and developing a team of nurses and nursing assistants, have nursing experience with a passion for caring for older adults, are a calm and decisive problem-solver, and believe great care is built on great teams. As the RN Leader, you will be the clinical and administrative anchor for our community. You will champion quality care by overseeing all clinical aspects of the shift, ensuring every resident receives safe, compassionate, and top-notch nursing care. You'll assist staff with assessments and complex cases, leading by example. You will lead with confidence by making critical decisions, managing staffing and resources effectively, and stepping in as a staff nurse when the team needs you most. You will build a thriving culture by fostering a positive, safe, and respectful environment for both residents and staff, acting as the bridge between the day and night teams. You will be a guardian of excellence by ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, championing residents' rights and safety.
Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of Pennsylvania.
- 3+ years of nursing experience.
- At least 1 year in gerontology preferred.
- CPR Certification.
- Proven leadership or charge nurse experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to embrace new technology.

- Gerontology experience is a huge plus.
