About The Position

The Night Shift Manager works under the direction of the warehouse manager and is responsible for night shift warehouse operations. The role oversees pulling and staging outgoing product and loading delivery trucks, while providing training and direction to teammates. The manager must be able to perform all related warehouse positions and assist with other operational duties as needed.

• Ability to train and cross-train employees.

Responsibilities

• Live and uphold the company’s Mission, Vision, and Values, and take ownership and pride in the job.
• Ensure the correct tires are loaded onto trucks correctly each time.
• Supervise, direct, train, and develop teammates; train, coach, motivate, appreciate, and develop employees.
• Track each teammate’s productivity and hold teammates accountable for reaching goals.
• Notify and work with the warehouse manager on items that need to be completed or improved.
• Manage employee recruiting, staffing, scheduling, time cards, evaluations, and safety.
• Manage and resolve workplace conflicts using company values as a guide.
• Secure the building before leaving by turning off lights, setting the alarm, and locking doors.
• Respond to after-hours alarms.
• Perform all employees’ job duties and cross-train employees.
• Assist with other duties as needed and help within operations when an employee is absent.
• Report issues or concerns to the supervisor.
