About The Position

Hilltop Commons Senior Living is seeking a dependable and attentive Night Porter for a full-time, benefits-eligible, on-site role on the overnight shift. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 11:30 PM to 8:00 AM. Working closely with the Community Administrator and on-site team, the Night Porter helps maintain a clean, secure, and well-kept community in accordance with Ray Stone Inc. standards. The role monitors the property overnight, helps ensure building security, and serves as the primary contact in emergency situations. The position is suited to someone reliable and observant who is committed to providing a safe and comfortable environment for residents, guests, and staff. The hourly salary range is $18.50–$20.00. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
One year of experience in a janitorial or housekeeping position.
Ability to walk and stand regularly and use hands to handle or lift objects.
Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to occasionally crouch, kneel, or climb stairs.
Ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
Ability to perform substantial wrist, hand, and/or finger movements.
Close visual acuity for activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading.
Ability to walk short distances.

Experience working with seniors is preferred.

Responsibilities

Respond to emergency calls through the pull cord or pendant system, depending on the assigned community.
Serve as the main point of contact for after-hours phone calls.
Keep the building grounds clean and well maintained.
Clean and maintain sidewalks, outside entrances, and patio furniture.
Dust, vacuum, and maintain the cleanliness of community common areas, including the kitchen, dining room, bathrooms, exercise rooms, library, and game room.
Take trash and recycling to the appropriate bins or dumpsters.
Conduct periodic walk-throughs and check that all entrances are secure.
Report in and read the logbook each shift to support accurate communication and documentation of issues.
