About The Position

The Night Manager is primarily responsible for guest relations and satisfaction. This role assumes total store responsibility in the absence of the Store Director and Assistant Store Director. The Night Manager is responsible for achieving sales targets in grocery, frozen, and dairy departments while maintaining superior guest service and satisfaction.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Required to work an average of 40-44 hours per week.
• Must be available to work between the hours of 9:00pm-7:00am.
• Minimum one year of store experience.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time (up to 6 hours).
• Ability to accept supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits, and attitude.
• Ability to perform all physical aspects of stocking, including but not limited to bending.
• Perform all other physical aspects of the job including bending, squatting, lifting, climbing, and walking.
• Ability to work at a fast-paced, but efficient and controlled manner.
• Ability to function as a team member and get along with others.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge, greet, and engage guests entering the area or department.
• Assume total store responsibility in the absence of the Store Director and Assistant Store Director.
• Maintain proper stock levels in grocery, dairy, and frozen departments.
• Manage individuals and delegate responsibilities to motivate and instill excellence in a positive manner.
• Supervise and ensure proper checking and bagging techniques are used.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the entire front-end, including check stands, floors, exterior front of store, and parking lot.
• Assist with overall guest and team member safety.
• Greet and speak politely with every guest on premises.
• Perform other duties as required by upper management.
