Swing Shift Custodian, Winter 26/27
About The Position
The Night Janitor is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of ski area facilities during swing shift hours. Working after operational hours, this role ensures that lodges, restrooms, dining areas, rental shops, and other public spaces are thoroughly cleaned and ready for the next day’s guests. Duties include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, restroom sanitation, and occasional snow/ice management at building entrances. This position requires the ability to work independently, attention to detail, and physical stamina to perform tasks in a cold-weather environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, self-motivated, and takes pride in creating a clean and welcoming atmosphere for all resort visitors.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Intermediate skiing or riding ability
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
Responsibilities
- Vacuum, sweep and mop all lodge floors and restrooms
- Deep clean and stock restrooms
- Transport trash and recycling to appropriate containers
- Report any restroom or lodge maintenance to Facilities Manager
- Shampoo carpets
- Straighten tables and chairs
