About The Position

We are currently looking for ambassadors who are passionate about the hospitality industry and have previous Front Office experience to join our Front Office Team as a Night Front Desk Supervisor. The Night Front Desk Supervisor is responsible for providing exceptional guest service in a friendly, welcoming and courteous manner.

  • Previous Front Office experience preferred
  • College/University degree in related discipline an asset
  • Knowledge of Property Manager systems (Opera) an asset
  • Applicants must be able to provide proof that they are legally able to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Dedicated to making every guest feel welcome and ensuring that their stay is enjoyable from check-in to check-out.
  • Take ownership of all guest comments and if needed, resolve it to the guest’s satisfaction
  • Provide courteous and efficient telephone services including accurate message taking;
  • Provide supervision for the entire Front Office team, which includes front desk agents, telephone operators, club floor, concierge and bell/door persons;
  • Collect & maintain information on the hotel and surrounding area;
  • Answer guest inquiries regarding rates, special packages, and general information accurately and in a timely manner;
  • Prepare room assignments and keys, cross checking with guest history and ALL loyalty membership
  • Complete an accurate daily Special Attention List and forwarding to appropriate personnel;
  • Create reservations via telephone, central/global reservations, correspondence and in person;
  • Check out guests and ensure all accounts are updated
  • Performs audit functions as necessary
  • Light accounting duties to ensure accuracy on guests’ folios and day closure
  • Ensures all daily, monthly and quarterly reporting is completed on a timely basis;
  • Responsible for a cash float;
  • Performs general office duties;
  • Ensures the safety and well being of our guests and co-workers by maintaining acknowledge of crisis and emergency procedures;
  • Completion of Night GSA’s duties when working the overnight shift alone.
