About The Position

This position is responsible for operating filling machines, ensuring product quality, and maintaining a clean work environment. The role requires adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), state, and federal regulations. Overtime may be required to meet production needs. The operator will also perform quality assurance tests, manage packaging and ingredient orders, and communicate effectively with various departments.

Requirements

High school diploma or its equivalent.
Flexibility to work flexible schedules with changing start times when needed.
Customer service oriented attitude.
Good attendance record and dependability.
Solid understanding of GMP, and state/federal regulations and practices.
Ability to work well with others.

Responsibilities

Operate and clean all filling machines.
Minimize machinery downtime.
Follow established practices for cleaning the work area.
Monitor product quality to identify and address issues early.
Maintain communication with co-workers to coordinate run schedules.
Complete all duties in a manner consistent with GMP, state, and federal regulations, and company/plant safety policies.
Perform all established quality assurance tests utilized in the lab.
Order and receive packaging and ingredients.
Maintain open communication with Utility People, Receiving, Processing, Filling, and Blow Mold operators.
Display a high level of professionalism.
Fulfill bottling needs, which may include overtime.
Perform other duties as assigned.
