About The Position

The Night Delivery Driver provides prompt, courteous customer service by delivering and picking up products at customer drop sites for internal and external customers. The role combines evening delivery routes and general driving duties with warehouse assignments, while maintaining safety and accuracy and representing Mygrant Glass in warehouses and in the field. The position reports to the Branch Manager and is classified as nonexempt.

The role involves handling automotive glass and other inventory, preparing orders and vehicles, completing deliveries and returns, recording transactions, and assisting customers. Employees may also perform other assigned warehouse or job duties.

Requirements

• Pass a motor vehicle record (MVR) check.
• Safely and competently operate forklifts, reach trucks, and pickers.
• Have 3–5 years of driving and delivery experience.
• Have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Hold a valid driver's license.
• Have at least 2 years of driving experience or equivalent.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Have strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
• Be organized, detail-oriented, accurate, and adaptable to warehouse environments.
• Work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Work cohesively as part of a team and take direction in changing working conditions.

Nice To Haves

• CMV DOT medical card preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be available for evening delivery routes.
• Unload incoming vehicles, inspect inventory for damage, process it, and stock it.
• Pick the correct products and quantities for orders; load racks and trucks with glass.
• Clean glass, assess stock for damage, and affix appropriate labels.
• Follow delivery routes and schedules to deliver products and receive returns; process and record payments and enter data into the ordering system.
• Safely operate the delivery vehicle.
• Receive and process returned stock.
• Complete logs and documentation.
• Communicate with team leaders to support timely and accurate deliveries.
• Break down boxes, stock accessories, organize inventory, and perform other directed warehouse duties.
• Interact with and assist customers during deliveries.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
