About The Position
Whiteline Express, Ltd., a stable and growing truckload carrier headquartered in Plymouth, MI, is looking for a dependable After-Hours Dispatcher to keep freight moving overnight. If you thrive under pressure, communicate clearly, and want to be the point person when drivers and customers need support, we want to hear from you.
Requirements
- Familiarity with TMS platforms, GPS tracking, and Microsoft Office
- Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage multiple calls at once
- Willingness to work overnight hours, rotating weekends/holidays
Nice To Haves
- 2+ years dispatching or logistics experience
Responsibilities
- Manage overnight fleet operations, answer calls, and resolve issues in real time
- Dispatch and schedule drivers/partner carriers using our TMS
- Track and trace shipments with GPS and provide status updates
- Communicate with drivers, customers, and internal teams to solve problems quickly
- Ensure compliance with DOT Hours-of-Service and safety standards
- Maintain accurate records and prepare shift handoff notes for day teams
