About The Position

Night Crew Clerks work overnight to ensure the grocery section of the store is stocked, clean, and organized. They assist with receiving, storing, and stocking products; product rotation and quality control; building displays; fronting products; and handling product damages or credits according to company policy. They also perform cleaning and general housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and orderly store environment. The purpose of this position is to prepare the store for the next day's business by ensuring grocery sections are well-stocked, organized, and clean, helping the store run smoothly and supporting a positive customer shopping experience.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to frequently lift 35 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, bend, and reach for extended periods.
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting and carrying stock, pushing carts, and organizing shelves.
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team.
Good communication skills and a positive attitude.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a stocker or retail position is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

Unload products, store them in designated locations, and place and rotate items on shelves.
Build and maintain product displays.
Rotate products using FIFO, check expiration dates, and handle product damages or recalls according to company policy.
Front shelves, keep them stocked, and return misplaced items to their proper locations.
Sweep and mop assigned areas, including aisles, break rooms, and storage areas; clean spills, trash, and other messes as needed.
Return products to their correct shelf locations and complete return processes in accordance with store policy.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following store safety protocols and using appropriate cleaning materials and equipment.
Perform other housekeeping duties and additional tasks assigned by a supervisor or manager.
