About The Position

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Theology, Divinity, Spirituality, Religious Studies, Pastoral Counseling, or a related field of ministry from a school accredited by a member of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
  • 2 years of pastoral ministry experience including hospital visitation

Nice To Haves

  • One unit of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE)
  • Endorsement or appropriate recognition of ministry by the governing body of the Chaplain’s denomination/faith group
  • At least one unit of hospital based Clinical Pastoral Education or its equivalent
  • Membership (or eligibility for membership in) the Association of Professional Chaplains or the National Association of Catholic Chaplains.
  • APC Board Certification.
