About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Night Auditor for the Renaissance Reno Downtown Hotel & Spa. The role supports the hotel’s service culture and includes overnight accounting and front desk duties. The Night Auditor audits the daily guest ledger, completes end-of-day accounting functions, verifies guest folio charges, and handles front desk operations such as checking guests in and out, booking reservations, and resolving guest issues. The position also involves cash handling, monitoring hotel security cameras, and preparing the Front Desk area for the morning shift. Night, weekend, and holiday work may be needed. Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in accounting or a Night Auditor role.
Knowledge of a property management system (PMS).
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to multitask.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work as a team player.
Ability to exceed guest expectations.
Basic accounting and math skills.

Responsibilities

Audit the daily guest ledger.
Handle end-of-day accounting functions, including posting daily room rates and room taxes.
Ensure all charges to guest folios are accurate.
Calculate the sum of revenues across accounts receivable for food, rooms, and other departments.
Perform front desk duties, including checking guests in and out, booking reservations, and resolving guest issues.
Make cash drops according to proper cash-handling procedures.
Organize the Front Desk area so the morning staff can prepare for their shift.
Monitor the hotel security camera system.
Ensure the lobby is well-maintained, properly lit, and has music at an appropriate volume.
Work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
