About The Position

The Night Auditor is responsible for checking figures, postings, and documents for accuracy. This role involves recording, storing, accessing, and/or analyzing computerized financial information. The Night Auditor will control and secure cash and cash equivalents for the property according to cash handling policy and procedures. They will also organize, secure, and maintain all files and records in accordance with document retention and confidentiality policies and procedures. Additionally, the Night Auditor will prepare, maintain, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables, and audit these reports and tables. A key responsibility is to audit and reconcile all revenue postings. The position also requires adherence to all company safety and security policies and procedures, reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions, and maintaining awareness of undesirable persons on property premises. Following all company policies and procedures, ensuring a clean and professional appearance, maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information, protecting company assets, and ensuring the privacy and security of guests and coworkers are also essential. The role involves welcoming and acknowledging all guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing guests’ service needs, assisting individuals with disabilities, and thanking guests with genuine appreciation. Communication skills are important, including speaking with others using clear and professional language, preparing and reviewing written documents accurately and completely, and answering telephones using appropriate etiquette. Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with others, supporting team goals, and listening and responding appropriately to employee concerns are also part of the role. Complying with quality assurance expectations and standards is required. The physical demands include moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Performing other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors is also expected.
