About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Night Auditor for the Renaissance Reno Downtown Hotel & Spa. The role supports the hotel’s overnight operations by completing end-of-day accounting and auditing, assisting guests at the front desk, and helping maintain a secure and orderly hotel environment. The position is part time and may require work on nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in accounting or in a Night Auditor role.
Knowledge of a property management system (PMS).
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to multitask.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to exceed guest expectations.
Basic accounting and math skills.

Responsibilities

Audit the daily guest ledger.
Handle end-of-day accounting functions, including posting daily room rates and room tax.
Ensure all charges on guest folios are accurate.
Calculate revenue totals across accounts receivable for food, rooms, and other departments.
Perform front desk duties, including checking guests in and out, booking reservations, and resolving guest issues.
Make cash drops in accordance with proper cash-handling procedures.
Organize the Front Desk area so the morning staff can prepare for their shift.
Monitor the hotel security camera system.
Ensure the lobby is well-maintained and properly lit, with music at an appropriate volume.
Work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
