About The Position

The Night Auditor position is a full-time, overnight role responsible for submitting and verifying credit card transactions, auditing cashier reports to ensure balances, posting data, balancing accounts, and compiling collection, disbursement, and bank reconciliation reports. The role requires strong customer service, technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication.

Requirements

• Effectively interact and communicate in English with people from diverse backgrounds
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
• Write simple correspondence
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other associates of the hotel
• Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
• Compute rate, ratio and percent
• Draw and interpret bar graphs
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
• Deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
• Use word processing software including Microsoft Word
• Use spreadsheet software including Microsoft Excel
• Use accounting and Internet software
• A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• One (1) year customer service experience
• One (1) year front desk experience or cash handling and/or bookkeeping experience
• Fluency in English language
