Position Summary The Lead Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for infants and toddlers. The ideal candidate will support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development through responsive caregiving and intentional learning experiences.
Requirements
- Experience working with infants and toddlers preferred.
- Strong understanding of child development and responsive caregiving practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
- Commitment to professional growth and continuous learning.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate learning experiences for infants and toddlers.
- Create and maintain a safe, welcoming, and responsive classroom environment.
- Observe, assess, and document children's growth and developmental milestones.
- Build positive partnerships with families through regular communication and collaboration.
- Support each child's individual needs and learning journey.
- Maintain classroom organization and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and school leadership to provide high-quality early childhood education.
