About The Position

As a Lead Teacher at a child care center, you will inspire children to become lifelong learners by creating interactive learning experiences, supporting children’s growth, leading classroom management and curriculum implementation, and building relationships with families. You will also mentor fellow Teachers and ensure the classroom follows licensing guidelines and company standards.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and child care center requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Create fun, interactive learning experiences and mentor fellow Teachers.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children.
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Ensure compliance with licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Build relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote children’s achievement and support the center’s success.
