About The Position

The Lead Teacher creates interactive learning experiences, supports and mentors fellow Teachers, and promotes the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children. The role leads classroom management and curriculum implementation, follows licensing guidelines and company standards, and builds relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children’s achievement and the center’s success.

The position is with Learning Care Group, Inc., a childcare provider offering programs for children from 6 weeks to 12 years. Its early education approach uses research-based curricula in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment to support children’s development, school readiness, and lifelong learning.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and the childcare center’s requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Energetic, dependable, and passionate.
