About The Position

Child Development Schools is seeking a passionate educator to lead a classroom and support children’s safety, well-being, and development. The organization provides developmental education for children from six weeks to twelve years old and is working to foster a culture of innovation, integrity, and collaboration in early childhood education. The Lead Teacher plans engaging activities that promote growth across developmental areas and builds strong partnerships with parents through open communication. The role requires empathy, communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to meet the physical demands of working with children. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Pass a background check.
• Hold a high school diploma or GED.
• Complete 12 hours of childcare training within 30 days of starting employment.
• Demonstrate empathy and understanding of children’s needs and development.
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be flexible and adaptable to community needs and changing circumstances.
• Be capable of meeting the physical demands of working with children.

Nice To Haves

• Education in Early Childhood Education.
• Experience within a licensed center.
