This position involves performing infant developmental assessments and developmental feeding assessments, making recommendations for interventions, and providing ongoing support and treatment for high-risk neonates in NICU and Special Care Nursery settings. The role also includes counseling and educating parents/caregivers on their infant’s developmental status and family adaptation to children with disabilities, as well as recommending appropriate developmental follow-up services upon hospital discharge.
