The Newsroom Intern at News On 6 will gain an inside look at how a local television newsroom operates while working alongside producers, reporters, photographers, and the digital team in the Griffin Media Tulsa newsroom. The intern will shadow daily newsroom operations and gain exposure to the full news-gathering process, from story idea to air. The internship is designed for students pursuing a degree in broadcast journalism, communications, or a related field who want real-world exposure to the pace and teamwork of a working newsroom. This is an unpaid internship for college credit, available for the Spring semester. Interns will work primarily dayside hours, with the opportunity to work the morning shift as well. Scheduling is flexible, but interns must meet the hours required for their college credit and be available for up to 16 hours per week. Professional dress is expected at all times. Duties and responsibilities may change at any time.
