About The Position

WIS-TV offers an exclusive, paid newsroom internship each semester in honor of former WIS intern and NBC TODAY anchor Craig Melvin. The intern joins WIS’s award-winning newsroom as a valued team member, gaining hands-on experience and guidance from newsroom professionals, including insight and time from Craig Melvin. The opportunity is intended for someone passionate about informing and serving the community and interested in pursuing a journalism career with WIS and Gray Media. Gray Media’s immersive internship program gives students the opportunity to learn broadcast expertise alongside experienced professionals.
