About The Position
WKRC has an exciting opportunity for a full-time News Production Assistant! This role involves operating cameras for newscasts, preparing for broadcasts, maintaining the studio, and potentially directing and editing. Training will be provided, and the ability to work weekends and holidays is required.
Requirements
- Must be able to work on weekends and holidays
- Other hours as needed, on occasion
Nice To Haves
- Experience preferred but education and/or internship in television or related field will be considered
- Training will be provided
Responsibilities
- Operate camera for our (Morning, Evening, Weekend) Newscast
- Prep for newscasts including but not limited to: Studio and set preparation, Maintaining studio, Lighting
- Directing newscasts as needed
- Some editing for newscasts
- Other duties as assigned
