About The Position
WKRC has an exciting opportunity for a full-time News Production Assistant! Responsibilities include operating cameras for newscasts, preparing studios and sets, maintaining studio lighting, directing newscasts as needed, and performing some editing for newscasts. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Must be able to work on weekends and holidays
- Other hours as needed, on occasion
Nice To Haves
- Experience preferred but education and/or internship in television or related field will be considered
Responsibilities
- Operate camera for our (Morning, Evening, Weekend) Newscast
- Prep for newscasts including but not limited to: Studio and set preparation
- Maintaining studio Lighting
- Directing newscasts as needed
- Some editing for newscasts
- Other duties as assigned
