About The Position

WHAM is hiring a part-time News Production Assistant to support television newscasts. The role operates Deko, audio, or camera equipment during morning, evening, and weekend newscasts and helps prepare and maintain the studio and set. Training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate Deko, audio, or camera equipment for morning, evening, and weekend newscasts.
• Prepare fonts for broadcast.
• Operate the prompter.
• Prepare the studio and set.
• Maintain the studio.
• Handle lighting.
• Edit material for newscasts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
